Job summary

KBR is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to support the HMNB Clyde Design Authority. The role covers HV electrical design, installation or maintenance, in a highly regulated safety-focused environment.

You will provide expert technical input across electrical infrastructure to keep facilities safe, reliable and fit for purpose. Remote role with occasional site visits in the UK; own transport required.

Qualifications

• HV electrical design experience and/or HV installation/maintenance experience is required.
• Detailed knowledge of electrical infrastructure design in regulated industries such as nuclear.
• Ability to make evidence-based technical decisions using diverse sources.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Support HV electrical design activities for HMNB Clyde DA.
• Provide technical expertise across electrical infrastructure systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions within a regulated environment.
• Work on essential infrastructure programmes and resolve complex engineering challenges.
