Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Engineer to support the HMNB Clyde Design Authority, focusing on HV electrical design, installation or maintenance within a highly regulated environment.

The role is remote with occasional site visits and requires strong knowledge of power distribution networks, protection schemes and earthing/bonding. UK residency and SC clearance are applicable.

Qualifications

• Broad electrical engineering experience in HV environments.
• Experience with electrical infrastructure design, installation or maintenance.
• Knowledge of British and international standards relevant to HV systems.
• Experience in a regulated or nuclear-like environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across electrical infrastructure systems for the HMNB Clyde DA.
• Contribute to safe, reliable and fit‑for‑purpose facilities through evidence‑based decisions.
• Develop practical, cost‑effective engineering solutions under regulatory constraints.
