Job summary

Deploy Recruitment Group is assisting a major power engineering consultancy in Aberdeen to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer specialising in HV connections for 33kV–132kV networks. You will design, analyse and cost projects, assess generation connections and drive permitting and testing processes.

Qualifications

• HV connections/33–132 kV network design experience with a DNO/IDNO/ICP.
• Knowledge of Electricity Network Regulations and NERS requirements.
• Familiarity with ENA engineering recommendations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and cost 33kV–132kV projects including new connections and diversions.
• Analyse performance issues and develop robust, cost-effective solutions.
• Assess generation connections and coordinate Witness Testing as required.
• Prepare business cases and present for authorisation within deadlines.
• Determine Points of Connection for load and generation on HV networks.
• Undertake site visits and stakeholder meetings to support delivery.
