Deploy Recruitment Group are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with HV connections experience to join a major DNO framework. You will design and cost 33kV-132kV projects and assess connections, with potential site visits and stakeholder engagement as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, understand ENA/NER standards, and can apply Grid Code requirements for protection settings.

Qualificações

• HV connections or HV network design experience between 33kV and 132kV.
• Knowledge of Electricity Network Regulations and NERS requirements.
• Understanding of DNO/IDNO design standards and scheme approval processes.
• Application of ENA Engineering Recommendations and industry standards.
• Understanding Grid Code requirements relating to protection settings.
• Awareness of HS&E requirements in the electricity industry.
• Understanding and application of CDM Regulations.
• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Design and cost 33kV - 132kV network projects, such as new connections, asset replacement and diversions.
• Analyse network issues and performance problems, developing robust, cost-effective solutions.
• Assess generation connections and raise jobs for Witness Testing as required.
• Prepare concise business cases and present for authorisation within timescales.
• Determine the appropriate Point of Connection for load and generation enquiries up to 132kV.
• Undertake site visits and stakeholder meetings to support project delivery.
