Job summary

Deploy Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with extensive HV design experience to join a major DNO framework. You will design and cost 33kV to 132kV networks, assess connections and contribute to the Production Plan.

You will analyse network issues, prepare business cases, determine Point of Connection, and undertake site visits to support project delivery in a fast-paced environment. Remote working is supported, with a preference for candidates based in Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• HV connections experience and HV network design across 33kV–132kV.
• Knowledge of ENA Engineering Recommendations and industry standards.
• Understanding of Grid Code requirements and protection settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and cost 33kV–132kV network projects.
• Analyse network issues and deliver robust solutions.
• Assess generation connections and raise Witness Testing jobs.
