Job summary

Sustainable Talent is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support safe delivery of energy infrastructure projects across the UK. This remote role involves occasional site visits and office attendance, with potential European project work.

The successful candidate will bring NEBOSH General or Construction cert and around five years of site-based HSE experience to advise on risk control and CDM compliance. The position offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000, with flexibility up to about £57,000 for

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills essential.
• Ability to travel across the UK as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety and environmental advice across construction, operational and maintenance projects.
• Undertake site inspections, safety surveillance and audits, identifying non-compliance and opportunities for improvement.
• Review risk assessments, method statements, contractor documentation and safe systems of work.
• Assess site-specific risks and advise on control measures for construction and operational activities.
• Support CDM regulations compliance and UK legislation applicable to projects.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor HSE management plans and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Monitor HSE performance and identify trends for action.
• Build relationships with project managers, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
