Job summary

Executive Network Group is recruiting a Regional HSE Advisor for the South West region. You will support safe, compliant delivery across solar, construction and energy projects, with frequent site visits and strong stakeholder engagement.

Ideal candidates hold a NEBOSH certificate and have 2–3 years regional HSE experience in energy or construction settings. A proactive, organised, self-motivated, assertive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• 2–3 years practical Health & Safety experience in regional/multi-site role.
• Experience with construction or electrical projects within energy/solar or consultancy beneficial.
• Proactive, organised, self-motivated and able to work alone.
• Engaging, personable and influential; able to be assertive.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits, inspections, audits, coaching and stakeholder engagement across the region (approx. 3 days/week).
• Support safe and compliant delivery of projects, engineering services and construction activities.
• Provide regional HSE leadership and assurance across portfolios; drive continual HSE improvement.
• Collaborate with operations, contractors, customers and stakeholders to implement HSE standards.

Job description

HSE Recruitment are working with a growing energy company who are looking for a Regional HSE Advisor to cover the South West of the UK.

As a Regional HSE Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and compliant delivery of projects, engineering services, construction activities and operational works across an assigned regional portfolio. Working closely with operational teams, contractors, customers and key stakeholders, you will help ensure Health, Safety and Environmental standards are effectively implemented and maintained across multiple sites and workstreams, identify any areas of concern and work with the sites to fix them.

This is a highly operational role, with a significant proportion of time spent carrying out site visits, inspections, audits, coaching and stakeholder engagement activities across your region. As such we are looking for someone who is happy to be out visiting sites on average 3 days a week.

You will be part of a centralised HSE function providing strategic leadership, regional support and operational assurance across our Solar & Construction and Energy Solutions & Engineering portfolios. Working as part of a collaborative national HSE team, you will support the continual improvement of HSE performance and help ensure safe and successful project delivery across the UK.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) level qualification.
• 2-3 years practical Health and Safety experience in a regional or multi-site role.
• Experience within a range of construction or electrical projects (within energy or solar would be beneficial) or consultancies.
• Someone proactive, organised, self-motivated and able to work alone.
• Engaging, personable and influential.
• Able to be assertive.

The salary and package includes £42,000-48,500 DOE, company car and 10% bonus.
