Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a part-time Human Resources Business Partner to support employee relations, investigations, and compliance programs. This fully remote role is based in the United States and involves collaborating with HR leadership to drive organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 8 years of experience, including handling confidential information and complex investigations. Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with 8+ years or commensurate experience.
• Minimum 2 years HR experience with exposure to employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR generalist duties.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information; strong investigative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Support conflict resolution efforts and facilitate effective communication between managers and employees.
• Assist with disciplinary actions, performance discussions, and corrective action processes.
• Identify employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions.
