Job summary

Mary’s Meals is seeking a People & Culture Advisor on a 9-month fixed-term contract to provide HR guidance across our international network, reporting to the People & Culture Lead. This remote role supports employee relations, policy application, and wellbeing initiatives, helping deliver a positive employee experience.

You’ll partner with recruitment, HR projects, and country teams to apply UK employment law where relevant and to align practices with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• HR generalist with significant employee relations experience and ability to advise managers on UK employment law.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with influence and constructive challenge.
• Experience managing HR projects or complex people issues from start to finish.
• Comfort working across countries and organisational contexts with local employment considerations.
• Collaborative, flexible mindset aligned with Mary’s Meals mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on employee relations cases with fair, consistent outcomes.
• Support development and application of People & Culture policies aligned with UK employment law.
• Champion employee wellbeing and effective people management in a remote-first environment.
• Contribute to People & Culture projects, performance processes, and HR training.
• Assist end-to-end recruitment activity in partnership with Head of Recruitment and hiring managers.
• Provide P&C support across Mary’s Meals and global network.
