Job summary

Stonewater is seeking a Housing Officer to support customers across Worcester and surrounding areas, working remotely in the UK. You will manage tenancies, address neighbourhood issues, and collaborate with partners to help people sustain their homes.

Applicants should have housing management experience, knowledge of safeguarding and welfare reform, and strong communication skills. Flexible hours and community-focused work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of housing legislation, safeguarding, ASB and welfare reform.

Responsibilities

• Manage full tenancy lifecycle from sign-up to end of tenancy.
• Handle tenancy changes, mutual exchanges, and breaches or fraud investigations.
• Support lettings and voids activity to minimise rent loss and turnaround times.
• Carry out estate inspections and address neighbourhood/environmental issues.
• Manage low-level anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes.
• Identify and respond to vulnerability and safeguarding cases.
• Complete fire risk assessments and monitor health and safety issues.
• Investigate complaints and learn from outcomes to improve services.
• Work with local authorities and external agencies to support customers.
