Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking a Housing Assessor at Level 3–5 for UK remote/hybrid work, delivering End-Point Assessment and housing qualifications across Levels 3–5. You will bring strong sector knowledge and practitioner experience to assess apprentices and learners.

In this role you will contribute to assessment development, standardisation and quality assurance, maintain accurate records, and provide guidance to employers, providers and delivery partners in line with apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Delivering End-Point Assessment (EPA) and vocational qualification assessments across Housing Levels 3–5.
• Assessing assignments, case studies, professional discussions, observations, portfolios and knowledge-based assessments.
• Making fair, valid, reliable and evidence-based assessment decisions.
• Ensuring assessment decisions align with assessment plans, grading criteria and apprenticeship standards.
• Participating in standardisation and moderation activities to maintain consistency.
• Working closely with IQA and EQA colleagues to support quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintaining accurate assessment records and reporting outcomes within required timescales.
• Acting as a Housing Subject Matter Expert, ensuring assessment reflects current industry practice.
• Keeping up to date with housing regulation, professional standards and sector developments.
• Contributing to the development and review of assessment materials, grading descriptors and guidance.
• Supporting the implementation of apprenticeship reforms and evolving assessment requirements.
• Working with Product Development to ensure assessments reflect occupational standards and employer expectations.
• Providing guidance to employers, providers, centres and delivery partners.
• Using assessment data, learner feedback and quality assurance findings to identify opportunities for improvement.
