Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Field Service Technician to execute high-voltage service work, including installation, commissioning, maintenance and refurbishments. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate parts and labour, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery for prestigious customers in the UK.

The role requires HV sector experience, ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, and strong leadership of teams or subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with HV experience and site installation knowledge.
• Experience in power engineering plant/equipment and readings of drawings.
• Experience leading teams or subcontractors and managing installations.
• Valid driving licence and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-voltage service activities on-site from start to finish.
• Coordinate parts, materials and labour to meet delivery targets.
• Install, commission, maintain and refurbish high-voltage equipment.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards across projects.
• Prepare site reports and resolve on-site issues with project manager guidance.
