Job summary

Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex is seeking an Innovation Manager to lead on engagement with health technology companies and other innovators across digital, medical tech, diagnostics and pharmaceutical sectors. The role focuses on building partnerships with NHS and commercial partners, delivering tailored support, and contributing to income generation.

The position requires travel within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex geography and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Project or portfolio management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of continuous professional development; CPD shows self-development ethos.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Innovation & Enterprise and Heads of Portfolio with management and delivery of industry and innovator support across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
• Contribute to income and income generation pipelines to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Work with stakeholders across health and care systems, industry partners, business support organisations and academia.
• Travel across the Kent-Surrey-Sussex geography as required to satellite offices.
• Support technology adoption and market access for health innovations and oversee portfolio delivery.
