Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner to autonomously manage a Midlands-focused portfolio from a home-based base. You will deliver practical H&S advice, build trusted client relationships and drive risk management across diverse sectors.

With a salary of £50,000-£54,000 plus up to 15% bonus, you will benefit from flexible home-working, broad client scope across the UK and opportunities to develop professionally within a consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• CMIOSH is essential.
• Diploma-level H&S qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk assessment and RIDDOR.
• Ability to manage own workload and travel as needed.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop long-term relationships across your client portfolio.
• Provide expert Health & Safety advice, helping clients manage risk and compliance.
• Understand client operations and business objectives to make practical, proportionate recommendations.
• Support clients with H&S management systems, risk management and safety culture.
• Engage with clients via face-to-face meetings, Teams/video, telephone and digital channels.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients.
