Principal People is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Business Partner to manage a portfolio of Midlands‑based clients with UK travel. You will combine technical H&S expertise with strong relationship management to deliver practical, commercially realistic advice.

The role offers home‑based work with flexible diary control, a base salary of £50,000–£54,000 plus up to 15% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) is essential.
• A relevant diploma‑level H&S qualification (eg NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma, NVQ Level 4/5/6 or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk assessment and RIDDOR.
• Ability to advise clients on complex issues without needing to be a specialist in every discipline.
• Strong client relationship, communication and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to spot opportunities within existing relationships.
• Ability to organise workload and manage competing client priorities.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and developing long‑term relationships across your client portfolio.
• Providing expert Health & Safety advice to manage risk, compliance and complex matters.
• Understanding client operations to make practical, proportionate recommendations.
• Supporting clients with H&S management systems, risk management and safety culture.
• Working with clients face‑to‑face, Teams/video, telephone and digital channels.
• Identifying opportunities for services such as Fire Risk Assessments or training.
• Supporting client retention, renewal and portfolio growth.
