Job summary

ISR Recruitment is supporting an IT consultancy to appoint an experienced Service Designer for an initial 6-month contract. The role is to support a GxP e-Archive programme, working with business, technical and compliance teams to map end-to-end service journeys.

You will translate user needs into practical, user-centred service designs within a highly governed environment, and you will collaborate across organisational and operational boundaries.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex transformation, digital or technology programmes.
• Strong visual and written communication skills.
• Ability to map and document end-to-end service journeys.
• Experience working in regulated or GxP environments.
• Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and current service with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement and user research to map interactions.
• Identify pain points and opportunities for improvement across journeys.
• Map end-to-end service journeys across people, processes and systems.
• Develop and maintain service blueprints for end-to-end view.
• Identify dependencies, risks and operational gaps.
• Document both typical and exception user journeys with workarounds.
• Collaborate with BAs and Tech Architects to reflect user needs in requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory, governance and data integrity rules.
• Communicate findings, recommendations and next steps clearly.
• Contribute to programme documents and Alpha Report.
