Job summary

Activate Group Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to oversee group financial reporting, management accounts, statutory reporting and audit coordination.

You will lead month-end and year-end processes across multiple group entities, strengthen internal controls, oversee VAT and regulatory reporting, and provide accurate financial information to senior management and the board in a remote-capable role.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 4+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience consolidating accounts under FRS 102 for multi-entity groups.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated financial reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation under FRS 102 and liaise with auditors.
• Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage VAT returns, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and fraud-prevention measures.
• Identify opportunities to automate finance processes.
• Report performance and control issues to senior management.
