Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Group Reporting professional to lead the monthly consolidation and reporting process across multiple units and entities. You will review submissions, prepare consolidated financial statements, and liaise with auditors to ensure IFRS and UK requirements are met.

The role focuses on improving consolidation processes, ensuring timely delivery of packs, and providing insightful commentary to senior stakeholders within the Group Finance function.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly group reporting and consolidation process, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review financial submissions from multiple business units and legal entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Investigate balance sheet movements, intercompany differences and unusual variances.
• Produce monthly reporting packs and financial commentary for senior finance stakeholders.
• Coordinate month-end and quarter-end close activities across finance teams.
• Review journals, reconciliations and key financial controls.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors and respond to technical accounting queries.
• Ensure reporting complies with IFRS and UK accounting requirements.
• Support Solvency II and other insurance regulatory reporting activities where required.
• Work closely with Group Finance, Financial Control, FP&A, Actuarial and Regulatory Reporting teams.
• Identify and resolve reporting issues, process inefficiencies and data-quality problems.
• Support improvements to consolidation systems, reporting templates and finance processes.
• Provide hands-on support during busy reporting periods and ensure timely delivery.
