Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Geophysical Data Analyst to support global mineral exploration projects remotely. You will process and interpret magnetic, gravity, EM, and seismic data, integrating with geology and drilling information to build 3D subsurface models.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a PhD or MSc in Geophysics, and 5+ years in the field. You’ll collaborate across time zones using digital platforms and contribute to cutting-edge exploration strategies.

Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Geophysics or related Earth Science field.
5+ years in geophysical data processing and interpretation for minerals.
Expertise in at least two geophysical methods and standard software.

Responsibilities

Process, invert, and interpret geophysical datasets to identify subsurface structures.
Integrate geophysical data with geology and drilling data to build 3D models.
Use Geosoft, Remap, Voxler or Oasis Montaj for processing and visualization.
Develop exploration models and contribute to target generation.
Prepare technical reports and data summaries for remote teams.
