About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, interpreting, and integrating various geophysical datasets (magnetic, gravity, electromagnetic, seismic) to identify and delineate prospective mineral targets. You will employ advanced software and analytical techniques to extract meaningful geological insights from complex data, collaborating closely with geologists and other geoscientists through digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Process, invert, and interpret a wide range of geophysical datasets (e.g., airborne magnetics, ground EM, gravity surveys) to identify subsurface geological structures and potential mineral deposits.
• Integrate geophysical data with geological, geochemical, and drilling information to build comprehensive 3D models of the subsurface.
• Utilize advanced geophysical software packages (e.g., Geosoft, Velox, Oasis Montaj) for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Develop and refine exploration models based on geophysical interpretations, contributing to target generation and prioritization.
• Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and data summaries for internal review and collaboration with remote geological teams.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in geophysical techniques, software, and data analysis methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with geologists and other geoscientists across different time zones using digital communication and project management tools.
• Ensure data quality and manage geophysical databases efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance on geophysical matters to exploration teams.

Requirements

• A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in geophysical data processing and interpretation for mineral exploration.
• Expertise in at least two major geophysical methods (e.g., magnetics, electromagnetics, gravity, seismics).
• Proficiency with industry-standard geophysical software (e.g., Geosoft Suite, Remap, Voxler, MaxSea).
• Strong understanding of geological controls on mineral deposits and how they manifest in geophysical signatures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for virtual collaboration.
• Experience with 3D geological modeling software is a significant advantage.
