Job summary

DAC Beachcroft seeks an experienced Forensic Collision Investigator to join the national Catastrophic and Complex Injury Team. You will investigate high-value road traffic collision claims, gather evidence, and provide expert liability insights working with Complex Injury lawyers across the United Kingdom.

The role emphasizes forensic analysis, witness liaison, civil proceedings exposure, and collaboration with internal case handlers and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience as Collision Investigator, likely with a UK police force.
• Minimum of UCPD in Forensic Road Collision.
• City & Guilds Certificate in Police Forensic Collision Investigation.
• Insight into civil proceedings and interaction with police investigations and criminal proceedings.
• Empathy and compassionate approach to guide clients through challenging circumstances.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Obtain evidence in civil cases arising from road traffic collisions.
• Secure witness evidence.
• Provide expert analysis of road traffic accidents for liability issues.
• Interpret evidence and liaise with police, CPS and coroners.
• Undertake site inspections of accident locations.
• Interact with witnesses, police, coroners, recovery agents and insurer clients.
