Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Fire Engineer to own fire engineering design across the full project lifecycle. The role involves delivering complex fire safety solutions for residential and industrial schemes, with significant autonomy to shape the capability within an established consultancy.

The position is fully remote with projects nationwide; the successful candidate will bring 2–3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and a proven ability to manage fire strategies

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' experience as a Fire Engineer.
• Experience on complex residential and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing and managing fire strategies.
• Confidence in managing projects through the design stage.
• Strong technical report-writing and client-facing skills.
• IFE membership or progress towards accreditation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage fire engineering input across design stages for diverse projects.
• Provide technical fire engineering expertise from design through delivery.
• Collaborate with existing services in fire safety offerings.
• Take ownership of building and shaping the fire engineering function.
