Job summary

SF Recruitment are supporting a growing, multi-entity organisation in the appointment of a Group Management Accountant to join their central finance team. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this hands-on role covers monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, Group consolidation and insightful performance analysis across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is part-qualified or newly qualified in CIMA/ACCA with strong month-end experience and the ability to

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with strong management accounting and month-end experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity or group environment preferred; strong technical grounding and ability to interrogate numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Owner of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Support Group consolidation, intercompany accounting and external reporting.
• Provide variance analysis against budget/forecast and prior periods.
• Deliver insightful commentary on financial performance for stakeholders.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and external audit processes.
• Oversee stock, margin and cost accounting and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to improve reporting.
