Group Management Accountant – Multi-Entity Insights

Job summary

SF Recruitment are supporting a growing multi-entity organisation in the appointment of a Group Management Accountant to join their central finance team. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role covers monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and group consolidation.

This is a broad, hands-on position where you’ll provide insightful commentary on performance and support budgeting, forecasting and external audit.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with strong management accounting and month-end experience.
• Experience within a multi-entity or Group environment preferred, strong technical grounding and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to provide meaningful financial analysis and challenge numbers rather than just report them.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Supporting Group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Provide commentary and insight around financial performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and external audit.
• Stock, margin and cost accounting; collaborate with operations and non-finance teams.
• Drive improvements to finance processes, systems and reporting.
