Job summary

Rhiannon Faith Company seeks a freelance Finance Manager to oversee financial management, robust controls, and strategic as well as day-to-day accounting for the leadership team.

Location is virtual with approximately 10 hours per month at £35 per hour, starting immediately. The role emphasizes compliance, reporting and financial planning to support the organisation's artistic mission.

Qualifications

• AAT or equivalent qualification; ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience.
• Strong finance knowledge and reporting experience.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management experience.
• Ability to maintain financial controls and procedures.
• Knowledge of payroll and pension administration.
• Able to work independently with a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Financial management and reporting for the organisation.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Ensure governance and statutory compliance.
• Fund accounting and grant reporting.
• Maintain financial controls and risk management.
• Provide leadership and support to leadership team.

Education

AAT qualified / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent

Strong understanding of finance & accounting principles

Experience producing management accounts & financial reports

Budgeting, forecasting & cash flow management

Financial controls & procedures

Payroll & pension administration knowledge

Independent work & varied workload management
