Job summary

Stroke Association in the UK is seeking a Finance Manager to report to the Financial Controller. The role offers full-time hours with base home-based work and travel to the Northampton office and other locations for meetings and training.

You will supervise the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury teams, providing guidance and mentoring while delivering accurate management reports to support decision-making. Flexible working arrangements are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised accountancy qualification e.g. AAT level 4+ or above (or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience supervising team members and providing constructive feedback.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with lookups, SUMIFS and pivot tables for financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Receivable/Payable and Treasury teams.
• Support operation cashflow forecast and financial controls.
• Provide ad hoc reports including VAT and Gift Aid.
