Job summary

STILL Materials Handling in Cheltenham seeks a Field Service Engineer to diagnose and resolve technical issues on STILL forklifts and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance and service visits to customer sites, ensuring equipment runs reliably and safely across multiple locations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, IT literacy for records, and the ability to travel. A full UK driving licence and willingness to work variable hours are essential for success.

Qualifications

Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, e.g. forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians or vehicle technicians.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
Proficient with IT and able to place orders/keep records using IT equipment.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
Carry out preventative maintenance and essential check-ups.
Travel to customer locations to service STILL forklifts and related equipment.
Work autonomously and as part of a team to support customers.
