Job summary

Richardson RFPD, part of Arrow Electronics, is seeking a Field Sales Representative to develop business across the UK and Ireland. This remote-based role requires regular customer visits and close collaboration with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to tailor electronic component solutions.

You will nurture relationships, identify new opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle in a fast-paced market spanning industrial, aerospace, defence, energy, and power sectors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in technical sales, field sales, account management, or similar within electronics or related industry.
• Good understanding of electronic components; able to discuss technical topics with customers.
• Experience or interest in semiconductors, power technologies, passive components, or connectors is a plus.
• Commercially aware, target-driven, able to identify customer needs and revenue opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-sufficient and proactive in managing a customer base in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customer opportunities across the UK & Ireland and manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, engineers, buyers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers and supplier teams to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Develop existing accounts while identifying new growth markets across industrial, aerospace, defence, energy, and power sectors.
• Support qualification, deal shaping, negotiations, and preparation of commercial proposals with internal teams and suppliers.
• Travel regularly across the UK & Ireland for customer meetings and business needs.
