Job summary

The Field Applications Scientist role is a remote-based position with travel across the UK and Europe for installations (~25%). You will guide customers through onboarding and training on advanced imaging workflows, troubleshoot experimental challenges, and collaborate with service and product teams to resolve issues.

You will also develop training materials and contribute customer insights to product and commercial teams to shape future development, working from anywhere in the UK.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc (or equivalent) in Cell Biology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for experimental and analytical workflows.
• Prior customer-facing or training experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific resource for customers post-installation.
• Lead onboarding, training and ongoing use of advanced imaging workflows.
• Troubleshoot sample prep, image acquisition and data analysis issues.
• Develop training materials and knowledge resources for scalable support.
