Job summary

OGT is seeking a Field Application Scientist I (FISH) to support Cytocell FISH products, deliver training, and assist the North America commercial team in pre- and post‑sales activities. The role requires deep FISH expertise and strong customer service orientation, with travel to support customers in NA and at exhibitions.

The candidate will work from a remote home office, travel at least 50% of the time, and collaborate across Commercial, Marketing, R&D and Quality teams to ensure high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on FISH experience with Haematology, FFPE, Bladder and Constitutional samples.
• Strong Cytogenetic/FISH application knowledge and excellent English communication.
• Customer service oriented with good time management and multitasking ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting.
• Remote home‑office role with at least 50% travel, including to Canada and the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on Cytocell FISH products including probes and pretreatment kits.
• Provide technical support for FISH products and assist the commercial team pre/post‑sales.
• Collaborate with NA Commercial, Marketing, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure top customer service.
• Understand customer needs and feedback to guide future product development.
• Handle multiple accounts and projects with attention to detail.
