The Family Law Company in the South West is seeking a qualified Family Lawyer to join our Truro team. You will manage a caseload focused on Domestic Abuse and Children cases, handle your own files, support colleagues, and meet all professional standards.

With strong investment in technology and a mentoring programme, you will work in a flexible setting with home working equipment and a supportive, experienced team.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified legal professional Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2–3 years PQE.
• Have experience of managing family law cases.
• Be client focused.
• Be used to working with case management systems.
• Have experience of conducting own advocacy or attending Court with Counsel where appropriate.
• Be confident, caring and helpful attitude towards colleagues and clients.
• Have commercial awareness of needs of the business and your role within it.
• Have a passion for access to justice.
• Experience of legal aid is essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of family law matters with emphasis on Domestic Abuse and Children cases.
• Oversee other lawyers’ files when they are on holiday or sick, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide high-quality client service, maintain diary dates and professional standards.
• Collaborate with support staff and participate in mentoring and development initiatives.
