The Family Law Company in Truro recruits a Family Lawyer with 2–3 years PQE to manage family law cases, mainly legal aid, with some private work. You will oversee colleagues in their absence and ensure deadlines are met, supported by a technology-driven practice and mentoring program.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with 2–3 years PQE.
• Experience of managing family law cases.
• Client focused.
• Experience of using case management systems.
• Experience of advocacy in court with Counsel where appropriate.
• Commercial awareness and needs of the business.
• Experience of legal aid is essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage own caseload of mainly legal aid and some private work.
• Oversee other lawyers’ files when they are on holiday or unwell.
• Ensure diary dates and deadlines are observed and met.
• Provide high-quality legal service with supervision and mentoring.
