Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Assistant ER Advisor to join the Employee Relations team. You will manage a caseload of ER matters, advise managers on HR policies, and deliver remote ER support across UK contracts. CIPD studies supported by the company, and strong IT skills are preferred.

The role is full-time with a 6 months fixed-term contract. Location is UK-wide with remote work possible outside the Midlands and reporting to the Employee Relations team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and advisory skills.
• Knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
• Experience or interest in Employee Relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of ER matters from receipt to conclusion.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• Deliver ER support to managers via the ER advice line.
• Utilise case management systems to provide a high-quality remote service.
• Support triage of ER cases across the business.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across contracts.
