Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) based in the United Kingdom. You’ll lead hands-on security for cloud-native infrastructure, perform penetration testing, and guide threat modeling and secure design.

You’ll contribute production-grade Go code and help strengthen container isolation and Kubernetes security across the platform. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to embed secure defaults, review architectures, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities from

Qualifications

• Hands-on penetration testing in production systems.
• Deep Kubernetes security expertise (container isolation, RBAC, policies).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals (API server, admission control, controllers, kubelet).
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers using controller-runtime, Kubebuilder, or client-go.
• Experience with threat modeling, secure system design, and security risk reviews of production architectures.
• Proactive, independent problem-solver with ownership of security issues.

Responsabilités

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing of products and infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes environments.
• Investigate, triage, and remediate security vulnerabilities from discovery through patch release.
• Review new features for security implications early in the development lifecycle.
• Analyze Kubernetes surfaces and security policy configurations to mitigate risks.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to promote secure engineering practices.
• Embed secure defaults and threat-aware development practices across the product lifecycle.
