Job summary

BRE Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Consultant to join the Energy team. You will contribute to energy consultancy, research, and product development projects, helping clients improve building performance and influence policy.

You will work with BRE experts across energy and sustainability, applying calculation methods and data analysis, while building relationships with government and commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in energy or related field required.
• Experience in energy consultancy or building performance.
• Knowledge of SAP, SBEM, HEM or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy consultancy projects for government and commercial clients.
• Contribute to research, policy and product development initiatives.
• Analyse energy, building performance data to generate insights.
• Apply energy calculation methodologies and building physics to projects.
• Support development of BRE products, tools and services.
• Prepare technical reports and client communications.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Contribute to industry discussions and thought leadership.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support business development through client engagement and proposals.
