Job summary

Portfolio Payroll is supporting a Cheshire based client to recruit an experienced Payroll & Finance professional into their payroll team. You will manage the full end-to-end payroll process and all year-end activities, delivering accurate results for a portfolio of public sector clients.

The role is fully remote with monthly in-person meetings in Cheshire, and you will support finance functions, data handling in Excel, and a high standard of client service across the team.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience including year end activities.
• Excellent communicator with client-facing experience.
• Experience of working with local authorities (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll monthly.
• Perform finance functions alongside payroll.
• Handle data manipulation in Excel.
• Prepare year-end processes and P11Ds/HMRC submissions.
• Assist with purchase ledger and invoicing.
• Provide first-class service to clients.
• Process LGPS pensions and TPS.
