Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is partnering with a Health and social care organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Specialist. This fully remote role offers a salary of up to £40,000.

You will provide proactive HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, advise managers on complex casework and employment legislation, and help maintain compliant ER practices while coaching others.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise a high-volume caseload.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing proactive, high quality HR advice across the full employment life cycle.
• Escalation point for contentious ER cases, including gross misconduct and dismissals.
• Support line managers with complex disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and welfare cases.
• Review ER casework, monitor trends and report learnings for compliant decisions.
• Coach and mentor People Advisors to keep ER knowledge up to date.
