Job summary

Careers Wales Connect is seeking an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) via Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd (CCDG), a Welsh Government subsidiary. The role is digital, mostly home-based with an office base, 37 hours a week, on a rota to cover 9am–5pm.

The successful applicant will speak Welsh, support a diverse client group, and help with CVs, job searching and career planning. DBS checks apply and salary is £26,276–£28,256.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent.
• Welsh language ability is essential for this role.
• Training towards Level 4 Diploma will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide clients to identify suitable career options.
• Provide information and advice to help clients manage their careers.
• Help clients with CVs and job searching activities.
• Support clients to achieve positive outcomes in education, training or employment.
