Job summary
Cheshire East Council is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Digital Services team on a full-time basis. You will design, implement and support the Council's voice, data, video, and wireless networks across multiple sites.
You will manage LANs and WANs, troubleshoot incidents, optimise performance and contribute to infrastructure projects. A proactive, collaborative approach and strong customer service are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in design, implementation, management and support of LAN/WAN environments.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving network incidents with proactive monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking and security principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
