Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to lead the movement of people, equipment and materials for the Sizewell C civil works. You will coordinate with the SZC client team to provide facilities and manage site and off-site storage, ensuring safe, efficient operations on a major UK infrastructure project.

Responsibilities include end-to-end supply chain coordination, performance monitoring, and implementing improvements with contractors and third parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering large UK civil engineering projects.
• Nuclear/license condition experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of people, equipment and materials on site.
• Coordinate with the SZC client team for on-site and off-site facilities.
• Engage with the Contractor’s supply chain and 3rd parties for the strategic and operational logistics, monitoring performance and taking corrective actions.
• Define end-to-end coordination of supply chain, material movements and information flows.

Skills

Experience of delivery in large UK civ

Education

CSCS Black Managers card

IOSH Managing safety or SMSTS

Terrestrial and Marine logistics experience

CILT(UK) Level 5 Diploma in Operations Management

CILT(UK) Level 5 Professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport

Data literacy and use of digital tools
