Job summary

Pearson is seeking T Level Moderators for Media, Broadcast and Production disciplines. These roles are fully remote within the UK, with locations in Greater London noted for reference in the job listing.

Responsibilities

• Moderate centres' assessment of candidates' work per criteria and procedures.
• Route centre requests for special consideration to Pearson; submit JCQ documentation accordingly.
• Maintain regular contact with Team Leader and raise issues as they arise.
• Ensure moderator marks and E9 reports are submitted by deadlines and meet standard.
• Keep records related to moderator role for one year after the examination series.

• Media, Broadcast and Production Occupational specialism in Creative Media Technician
• Media, Broadcast and Production Occupational specialism in Content Creation and Production
• Media, Broadcast and Production Occupational specialism in Events and Venues Technician

Overview of the role

Moderators are responsible for moderating centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with the agreed assessment criteria and the awarding organisation's procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend standardisation meetings. Moderators will not be permitted to carry out moderation if they fail to attend the appropriate standardisation meeting/s. Moderators must not moderate any candidate work before the standardisation meetings.
• Moderate centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with the agreed assessment criteria and our procedures.
• Send any centre requests for special consideration to Pearson. Send any other JCQ documentation from centres to Pearson.
• Maintain regular contact with their Team Leader as appropriate, raising issues as they arise.
• Ensure all Moderator marks and E9 Moderator reports are submitted on the system by specified deadlines. All E9 moderator reports must be at the standard specified in the standardisation meeting.
• Keep all records relating to their moderator role for one year after the examination series.

Experience/ Qualifications needed:
