Job summary

Canonical is looking for a software engineer to build and validate resilient distributed systems. In this role, you will develop CI pipelines and automated testing tools for Canonical's cloud solutions, contributing to projects based on Juju, Terraform, OpenStack, and Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Python or Go, a strong understanding of continuous integration tools, and a keen interest in engineering challenges, with opportunities for international travel.

Qualifications

• Solid background in modern test processes and strategies.
• Ability to develop and ship production grade modern web applications.
• Capability for 2-4 weeks of international travel per year.
