Job summary

Jobgether SRL, acting on behalf of a partner, seeks a Design Desk Engineer in the United Kingdom. You will work remotely on solution architecture, technical scoping, proposal development, and documentation across diverse IT environments using M365, Azure, virtualization, networking and security technologies.

You will produce implementation-ready designs, SOWs, workplans, and detailed requirements while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, server infrastructure, virtualization, networking and security.
• Experience in solution architecture, technical design, scoping, and implementation planning.
• Ability to translate client requirements into proposals, SOWs, and workplans.
• Ability to challenge recommendations, assess feasibility, and validate AI outputs.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• You will own design requests from review through final documentation.
• Translate client requirements and vCIO strategies into architectures and docs.
• Develop technical proposals, SOWs, workplans, and milestones.
• Evaluate solutions for accuracy, feasibility, scope, licensing, risks, and readiness.
• Review requests for completeness and gather missing info.
• Validate environment details and maintain documentation of status and blockers.
• Communicate delays and changes impacting delivery.
• Triages requests, reviews workload, and supports KPI monitoring.
• Prepare for vCIO discussions with documented requirements and risks.
• Use approved templates and AI-assisted tools while validating all output.
• Identify gaps and fix inaccuracies before delivery.
• Improve templates, intake forms, and engineering standards.
