Job summary

Nextech Group Limited is seeking an experienced IT engineer for their service desk, offering remote work with a London-based head office. You will support on-premises and Azure environments, escalating incidents and changes as required.

The role blends customer-facing service with project delivery and documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for solving technical problems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a similar service desk or managed services role.
• Hands-on experience across Azure and on-prem environments.
• Solid experience with VMware, AD, Exchange, Intune and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical contact for incidents and service requests.
• Lead troubleshooting across Azure and on-prem, owning major incidents end to end.
• Run root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes.
• Implement and peer-review changes in customer environments.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
