We are seeking a data analyst to build data products, translate data into actionable insights, and collaborate with Data Engineering and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis, data science, or business intelligence.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Extensive experience in data analytics and data visualisation.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and analytical techniques.
• Experience with large datasets and relational databases.
• Track record of making data solutions accessible for end-users.
• Experience working with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Experience building data products that transition manual and heavily Excel-based analysis to automated or semi-automated solutions.
• Knowledge of star schema modelling, including dimensional data modelling, dimensions, facts, measures, and hierarchies.
• Experience developing analytics with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
• Nice to have: Python, experience beyond descriptive and diagnostic analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and support data products offered by the Data Office.
• Translate data into meaningful and actionable insights.
• Understand business and technical aspects of data to deliver suitable products for stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement by developing value-adding products.
• Highlight data risks through thorough testing and analysis.
• Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Create models, reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Design and deliver high-quality data analytics solutions.
• Work with Data Engineering and key stakeholders to develop scalable analytics products.
• Contribute to data pipelines and curated datasets.
• Identify trends through data analysis.
• Provide expert guidance on analytics and performance measurement.
• Maximise the value of internal and external data sources.
• Deliver projects autonomously while maintaining clear communication with the Data Analytics Lead.
