Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Systems Support Assistant to join a UK student accommodation operator's business intelligence team. The role is remote-first (based in England) and reports to the platform manager, supporting day-to-day system administration, data administration, and the wider development roadmap.

This entry point offers hands-on training with experienced specialists, exposure to pricing, database administration, reporting and automation, with travel to sites as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Comfort with data, including spreadsheets and large datasets.
• Strong Excel skills or the aptitude to develop them quickly.
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities.

• Curiosity about systems, technology and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop into a power user, supporting day-to-day system administration and data management.
• Support the execution of pricing strategies, including rate releases and changes.
• Manage partner agreements within core systems, including cancellations, voids and referrals.
• Undertake database administration and bulk data work across rates, terms, groups and bookings.
• Prepare, manipulate, import and validate data for mobilisation and rate-setting activity.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort through automation.
• Maintain records of requests and changes via ticketing and project management tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues across central support and site teams, with occasional travel.
