Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Lawyer for an initial 6-month interim contract. The role is fully remote within the UK and requires strong GDPR / data protection expertise and in-house experience in a technology-driven environment.

You will provide legal guidance on privacy matters, draft DPAs and vendor contracts, and support privacy risk assessments and governance initiatives across a global organisation. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with significant data privacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and international privacy regulations.
• In-house experience in tech/SaaS or data-driven environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on data privacy across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate DPAs, vendor contracts and customer terms.
• Advise on GDPR and international data protection requirements.
• Support privacy risk assessments, incidents and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Information Security on privacy projects.
