Job summary

Nuvion Tech is seeking an experienced Contract Data Architect to provide architectural leadership across a Microsoft Fabric programme. This role is hands-on and strategic, focusing on assessing current architecture, challenging existing approaches, and establishing a clear roadmap for a scalable, well-governed data platform.

You will define foundations for data modelling, integration, governance and scalability, and work closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders to guide delivery

Qualifications

• Strong background in data architecture, with significant Microsoft Fabric experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise data platforms.
• Ability to independently assess and challenge architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide assurance on the existing Microsoft Fabric architecture and programme delivery.
• Identify architectural gaps, risks and areas for improvement.
• Define a clear architectural roadmap and recommend changes where required.
• Ensure the right foundations are in place around data modelling, integration, governance and scalability.
• Work closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders to guide delivery.
