Job summary

e.surv Chartered Surveyors is seeking a Data Manager for a hybrid role based in Kettering, UK. The role focuses on hands-on data management and commercial oversight of data suppliers, SaaS platforms, and licensing arrangements to ensure secure, accurate, and accessible enterprise data across the organisation.

You will oversee ETL processes, data integration pipelines, data governance, and data security while coordinating with technical and business stakeholders to optimise reporting and data

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data management or data operations.
• Hands-on ETL and data integration tools/workflows.
• Strong SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with data warehousing, APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data security principles.
• Experience with enterprise reporting platforms.
• Vendor management and SaaS contract management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the integrity, security, and availability of enterprise data.
• Oversee and support ETL processes and data integration pipelines.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimise data platforms, data warehouses, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot data quality, integration, and reporting issues.
• Work with large datasets and support reporting requirements across the business.
• Maintain and improve data governance, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Manage data licensing, supplier relationships, SaaS platforms, and cost optimisation.
• Support delivery of data projects, migrations, and platform enhancements.
• Identify and implement improvements to data processes and reporting capability.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party providers.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance requirements.
