You will champion data governance, build ownership, and translate data concepts into practical business value. This people-focused role requires strong communication and change skills to influence senior stakeholders and technical teams, with a focus on embedding better

Qualifications

• Data governance, data quality and Master Data Management concepts understood and applied.
• Strong communication and change-management skills with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, data stewardship or MDM considered valuable.
• Ability to discuss data architecture, integrations, APIs, data models and data flows with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness of data as a shared business asset and champion better data practices.
• Help establish Data Owner and Data Steward responsibilities across key data areas.
• Make data governance concepts practical and relevant to business users.
• Bridge business needs and technical solutions with technology and data teams.
• Help improve data quality at source by addressing root causes.
• Track data movement and impact of changes across systems.
• Develop and deliver communications, workshops and training.
• Identify resistance to change and support adoption.
• Monitor progress to improve data maturity over time.
